After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Vibration Damage when commuting with trailer

Do mobile coffee machines sustain vibration damage from travelling in a trailer?
What innovative ideas are out there to mitigate damage?

Thanks

  • Yes. Trailers are particularly bad and they are only really viable when used to get from point A to B, setup, operate and then return.......not a good idea to have as a running service. A better solution is to have the equipment inside a van as they are more stable, have advanced suspension and don't bounce and crash around like trailers.
  • I have to agree with the above post A van setup is 100% + better
  • Maybe also consider the independent mobile coffee operators group on Facebook as it's mobile operators only who would be well placed when it comes to answering such questions
