i called cuppacoffee and they have the bigger (22g?) ones but I ordered one 18g one. dennis the owner told me it will be there in a few days. i will try it in my silvia but keep if for my breville when it comes

I'm a sceptic as well AM, but $43 ain't a lot of money and I would love to be proven wrong, besides I'm about due a new basket. Trust me the review will be exactly as I see it. ;D

You know how to contact me if you want to try one AM, perhaps KK could bring his tamp to check for fitment also. Either 18 or 22g I have Enjoying the flavours from my shots still. 😉 I have been updosing of late tho, 20-21 grams in the 18g basket as with the weather changing the pucks at 19g were getting sloppy.

Well my VST basket arrived this morning just in time for morning coffee :-* The results "fantastic" I set about doing my first shot with every thing as is for my 12g basket that I use for single shots and pulled a 30ml 19sec for my first attempt.. In the cup where it counts I was amazed at how creamy the full it felt in the mouth I am not very good at explaining different tastes but all I can say this basket is worth every penny 😉 My method for dosing is to fill to brim then one bench tap top up and lightly chop with a splayed level light tamp tap full tamp twist for polish this mornings cup was PNG Waghi AA In too words Bloody beautiful 😛 😛 Cheers Gra..

After a small play my only coment is that they are different. I need to play with them more to get the best out of them but they do change the game that's for sure. Brett

Arrived this morning, as well as 10Kg of green beans from Bean Green and a Lonely Planet guide to Vietnam, how exiting :🙂 I've used it (the filter basket) did the earth move? not quite, yet to do a direct comparison, will keep you posted. ;D

I've had VST baskets in the Linea at work for the last week and am pretty happy with the results so far. I'm cautiously optimistic at the moment. There has been a definite improvement in our shots, but only a small amount. As it turns out, we desperately need to put new blades in our Robur, which will be taken care of tomorrow. New baskets are nice and all, but they aren't going to show us much the way our coffee is being smashed at the moment! :o
