admin hi guys - have been unavoidably out of commission for a few days [things like ash clouds hanging about didn't help]; I'd like to think we get it right most of the time, but just thought I'd mention that I'm always happy to have input about anything on the forum - any issues, please feel free to pm any time. cheers A PS I know I should google it, but what's speleology? 🙂
Koffee_Kosmo admin wrote: PS I know I should google it, but what's speleology? 🙂 Something to do with caves I think KK
shape_shifter Ha WotB, sounds like our garage too, one side the RX3, the other side the rotary, almost ready to go in ;D His man cave is the lounge room, it's his work room and the wall of boxes is the entry way, anyone seen Mythbusters and their wall of boxes ;D
SniffCoffee shape_shifter wrote: one side the RX3, the other side the rotary, Isn't that 2 rotaries then? ??? My brother had an RX4 which he plugged a 13B into with fuel injection...ah, happy memories... ;D sniff
shape_shifter Nah Sniff, it has a piston engine in it at present, tell you though it's still really quick, we 'tested' it against my crapadoor VT S and it kept up easily, the 13B is almost ready to go in then it'll blow everything else away 🙂 It'll be the most computerised RX3 out there I think by the time he's finished with it.
Seeya_Latte in keeping with the nostalgic theme, 808's, RX's, capella's... I remember them at Friday night drags at Calder here in Melb in the 80's, a noise the V8 lovers used to hate with a passion.....everyone knew them collectively as 'egg beaters' or 'rice burners'! I had an 82 SII RX7 for 13 years sold it in show room condition....looking back now, rotaries were ahead of their time.
shape_shifter ...and still are 🙂 We'll be in the process of looking for an '99-'02 RX7 for my OH eventually. At the moment he is helping his father fix up his, my OH was almost born in it so there is sentimental attachment for both of them. He actually wants a Cosmo but it's a little unrealistic, there are so few around and he keeps saying he'll put a 20B in his MX-6.
Springbok Hi All, Wondered where most of you had gone..hope it wasnt something I said :o Well - in short - I am an African - born in Zambia and spent a long time in South Africa - migrated here with my family in 1999. Im an Electrical Engineer and am at present on the new Tunnel team in Brisbane. I developed a love for coffee and started slowly with some frustration at the mystery of coffee until I read an article on a Copffee ceremony in Ethiopia - started roasting my own beans in a pan, a neighbour gave me a Popcorn machine which I modified over several years - am now the owner of a Hottop and while I am pleased I still remember the excitement of popper roasting.. I prefer stove top espresso and ama sucker for new ways to brew coffee. All for now, Regards,
Koffee_Kosmo Welcome Springbok It was good to catch up with you at the Bezzera Strega Lever try out day KK

Brett_H Koffee Kosmo wrote: Welcome Springbok It was good to catch up with you at the Bezzera Strega Lever try out day KK Ditto! This forum has a really nice feel and I'm looking forward to your posts. Incidentally my mate who runs Underground Opera operates one of those big borers in your Tunnel. I've seen the way he navigates and drives so AM better keep half an eye on that deck he's mentioned!

Welcome to Crema AC, the friendly forum 😉 Your right Adelaide is a lot less frantic than Melb or Sydney, a good thing as far as I'm concerned, Adelaide is a delight to navigate. ;D
