Figured I'd get this kicked back off:
Bean | Source | Weight | Comments
Costa Rica Zamorana Estate | Ministry Grounds | 0.050kg | Lovely single origin, stands up well in milk and hits the roast notes described
Kenya Tinganga Estate AA | Ministry Grounds | 0.773kg | -
Kenya Karini AA | Ministry Grounds | 0.420kg | Beautiful as a single origin and stands up well in milk, well priced, wine-like body & acidity, notes of red grapes, currants etc with a lingering dusty cocoa mouthfeel & taste.
Brazil 'Toffee' Cerrado | Ministry Grounds | 0.565kg | Good if slightly uninspiring base for blending, well priced.
Brazil Daterra Monte Cristo Natural | Ministry Grounds | 0.521kg | Enjoyable blending base, well priced, as described.
El Salvador Finca La Fany | Ministry Grounds | 0.410kg | Sugar cane & other gentle notes linger in the cup - roast quite light for biggest rewards. Roasts evenly and is satisfying right across the board. #vivalafany
Ethiopia Yirgacheffe - slightly old | CoffeeSnobs | 0.960kg | Boring, plain, one-dimensional, roasty at darker roasts and sour at lighter roasts, the balance point gives a very lemon-lime fragranced cup at slower extractions, with an insipid dark chocolate/cocoa backing. Verging on unpleasant - could be my roasting skills (or lack)
