I don't actually agree that it will introduce people to proper coffee, it will just make them buy it from the supermarket more. In the case of my family, I showed them and left them with my roasted Peru, which my father said they all enjoyed, going back to QLD, do you think that my sister was going to go to a roaster to get some fresh coffee, NOPE, good old supermarket coffee with the words "it's only coffee". My brother and SIL stood there while I was making coffee and do you know what they did, pulled the instant out of the cupboard and made a cup. I've given up even thinking about others, well people not into coffee already anyway. I might mention it in passing when I meet people and if they are interested they can come to me, I'm sick of wasting good coffee on people that don't appreciate it. Oh the supermarket buying thing - we shop at IGA where we can but there are quite a few things that even they don't have that we like which means having to go to Woolworths. I wish it wasn't the way but it is at present.
