Muscles Sorry champ, but despite my online handle I cannot budge this one either and I have no vice to use... I reckon the rubber grommet/space is helping it hold tight.
shape_shifter I would send Phil or Dave an email/message to see how they are attached so the whole thing isn't damaged but I doubt that they'll answer me lol the only downside of all the crap that went on.
Koffee_Kosmo Post a photo or 2 and I will figure out a way Its what I do best 😃 P.S. AM I may have some more Australian native wood for you KK

shape_shifter KK, photos as requested, if you want to see any other angle let me know and I'll take more tomorrow.
Koffee_Kosmo That silver circle/disc is or should be a removable cover See if it can be carefully prized out Once out Inside the handle there should be a hex shaped tube Get back to me if this is so KK
shape_shifter Now that makes sense, I'll let you know. Very glad you asked for photos, I don't think it's even clicked with OH to check the end, I'd hate to think what would have happened in the vice (well if it turns out that the end will come off).
shape_shifter No luck on our end, all we've done is succeed in scratching it and chipping the black plastic!!! Muscles have you had any luck. No that OH has looked at it he definitely doesn't think it's a put in the vice and twist type of pf.

Hmmm If the other half has a mechanic as a mate do a trade with him / a free coffee for a qualified look KK
Koffee_Kosmo I still think that the silver end cap is removable, Unless its fake Does it appear to look like a cap/plug KK
Muscles I had a quick go at removing but it will damage the bakelite handle so I gave up until I find out if their is also in fact a nut behind it and not just one holding it... :🙂

shape_shifter I'm hoping that's the answer, we'll put it in the vice if so. Muscles we've already damaged the handle trying, after the second scratch and the first chip I made him stop. Oh well it's run in now LOL
Koffee_Kosmo Here are some photos of a Bezzera handle Hope it helps Photo 1 is of the Locktite left over after removal Photo 2 is of the end cap/disc partly removed Photo 3 is of the inside of the handle Can you see the hex shape tube down the bottom :lamp: KK
shape_shifter I love that far right one AM. Damn Breville and their all in one pfs, that really really sucks!!!
shape_shifter I don't think anyone knows the cost of a replacement yet, the nakeds are going to be over $100. I'll offer up mine once I get a naked ;D it's supposed to be next month sometime so not too long to wait. Hopefully you'll be able to pull it apart and be able to put a new handle on and then I'll do a swap and have the naked done as well 🙂
Kelsey I've missed this thread until now, but wanted to also say a huge thanks to AM for the naked PF he sorted me out with that had one of his custom wooden handles on it. I looks bloody brilliant - I pour naked now whenever possible, because I love seeing it on the machine so much. Now I need to figure out if I can replace the steam tap handle with a wooden equivalent! Here's a couple of shots:
