I may as well get in on the action 🙂 my name is Trevor and I have been a progressive coffee tragic for about five years.............. I began my caffeinated journey on a Via Venezia and (strike me down) supermarket pre-ground, then came a Sunbeam grinder and fresh beans (a whole new world materialised), fed by info from coffee forums the upgrade bug bit and along came Silvia and Rocky, PID kit, thanks to K Rudd a Mazzer Mini and then the arrival of an Isomac Tea II, during this time I also began roasting on a popper which I sent into meltdown mode after five consecutive roasts, thus corretto I and later on MkII were pressed into action--450 roasts later and a tempting offer from Mark at Coffeeroasters Oz saw a 2kg Torrefottore arrive on my doorstep. I have involved myself on the Perth coffee scene attending cupping sessions, barista jams, assisting at state barista championships, I try and get to Melbourne once or twice a year to soak up the coffee culture and visit as many coffee hot spots as possible I worked in the newspaper production industry for 25 years and for the past 20 years have operated a lawn/garden maintenance business which I am still operating on a part-time basis (more time to roast and drink coffee!!) cheers Trevor
