  It's the trees, the beans and the environment I feel for.  If you were flora or fauna and you knew that your being harvested was going to bbe treated with respect as well as bring fulfillment and sustenance, that'd ease the pain right... But if mother nature was made aware of the crimes of Macdonlds, we'd be a lunar landscape!

  Ha, well there's a tick in the box for "something new learned today". I've just finished reading "Heart of Darkness" and wasn't aware that Apocalypse Now was inspired by it. The association is so clear now. Anyway, back on topic, McCafe is like a bad movie. If you don't like it, don't drink/watch it. I'm sure there are people who appreciate McCrape as being better than what they usually make for themselves. It seems that McDonalds is working on improving its products and all the best to them. I would say better late than never but, as far as this black duck is concerned, McDs remains one of the last places I would step into for a feed let alone a coffee.

  Actually, they will raise awareness of coffee, and the whole coffee industry will benefit through growth through the raised awareness. People that appreciate coffee may well try the McD, and will go back to their "regular". In the meantime the McD business will benefit by growing the size of their "per client spend".   Interesting side note is that in Canada Espresso is somewhere around 15-20% of the market the rest being brewed coffee ???
