takeaim Was a great day of competition with a packed house at Veneziano's QLD headquarters. Current Australian barista champion, Tim Adams defended his state title and will represent QLD at the national championships in January. The QLD latte art champion is Sam Liao, he's a great guy and pretty sure still only 16 years old! It was a very close contest involving a countback of scores with the top 3. Overall the standard was high in both comps and it's great for the future of specialty coffee in QLD.
