All I can say is that if the blend wins out I might need more than 1st August to trial one first, maybe I need to get cracking now to make sure I have one that works :rofl: Lacehim, we are either paired randomly or in set pairs and we roast a certain amount, last time 500 grams which would mean that we could do 2 lots of 250 grams or 1 lot of 500 or some other amount up to 500 grams. We are given the name and address of the other person and off you send it by a certain date. It didn't matter if you sent it straight away and the receiver waited for the beans to degas or if you let it degas and then sent it. It was great fun even if some people had to wait for others being pedantic :rofl: Was a little like Secret Santa where the other person didn't know who had sent the beans until it was revealed later on. Personally I prefer it randomly as then there are no preconceived ideas about what a roast should taste like coming from a certain type of roaster.
