Hello Nandi, you will find that Saeco generally follows their new machine warranty policy to the letter, however each separate repair is usually guaranteed for 3 months...so it sounds as though you should be able to just slip it in for the recurring problem that happened just before new warranty ran out, and have it seen to under its "own warranty"...so to speak. If you have already jiggled the tiny lever in the slot in the body that activates the alarm circuit for the dregs container when it is moved in and out, and had no success, then I'm afraid you can only take it up with them, and I would urge you to do so very promptly anytime something goes wrong, because I am afraid they will grant you very little if any leeway.
