Love the swirls on the handle!
derrilex Looks way better in the flesh. I think from memory I toned the gold down a bit in the tamper stand to match the honey colour of your tas oak bench
Ol_Grumpy Sensational... Like someone else said it's a bit like watching the liquid silver terminator rise up from the floor... Great Mod, derrilex :kudos

Great Mod, derrilex :kudos When we were discussing possible designs I mentioned the skeleton watch look Not the same kudos to the terminator description  KK
Brett_H I've picked up the stand and the handle and all I can say is WOW! They look amazing (good in the photo but mind-blowing in real life) and match the woodwork in the kitchen perfectly. Thanks DX for this awesome kit and thanks also for the great cup of coffee and chat: Kuda Mas kudos!!! :thumb:
derrilex I dare say you're not the only one Kelsey. I love wood too but.....if only in came in funky colours and was impervious to the environment it lives in

derrilex Worked out pretty ok KK. The nutsert worked fine with a bit a ginning around. I think AM's suggestion of just making a blank and centre drilling in a lathe is the go. Then tap the thread and use a helicoil. More expensive though. The nutserts are about 80cents each. Helicoils are about $ 8 each by the time you buy the kit.
