More from The Risotto Diaries.....and having had my 2 cuppas this morning to start the day/ 😉 From the usual "internet pedia": "....In Internet slang, a troll is ........yarte yarte yarte........and.......The noun troll may (also) refer to (a) provocative message itself, as in: "That was an excellent troll you posted."..." ...Quote UNM: "Nice troll A. Should kick off some lively debate. 😉 😃 😃 Unfortunately, provocative posts dont always do that ( kick off lively debate)...they very often stifle it because not many feel the need to wade into the mire and get their hands dirty.
It is oft forgotten that there are both good and bad trolls (like white and black witches). The term 'troll' was being used on a recent episode of ABC's Q&A to refer to people simply posting abusive messages on twitter and farcebook, completely inappropriate.

I guess this is a far bigger topic than C-man originally though he was getting into, wrt UNM Quote: "...perhaps then you should refrain from posting opinions until you have mastered the art of roasting to the customers requirements..." I understand this was "tongue in cheek" but should still say that I dont believe anyone can roast to the requirements given in this topic (espec sundry fudge-persons that just conveniently happen to have that exact coffee out the back to roast up right now to the client spec....showing cynicism & disrespect for the client instead of being truthful/helpful and trying to educate), and I sincerely hope this helps. Happy to hear anyone elses opinion, presumably needs to be someone willing to spend the time (considerable) 🙂
Glad you took the comment in the spirit it was intended. I am of the opinion that said fudgepackers were satisfying an immediate customer request. Nothing wrong with that. Perhaps they even did it well, but regardless - it was a business decision they are quite entitled to make and may be good for their bottom line. Obviously if the end result disappoints, then they don't get repeat business, but perhaps that is not their goal and they just wanted to close one additional sale. Time will tell. wrt single session cupping. I don't care - my memory is quite good enough for MY purposes. I know what I like and roast my own to meet that desire. One of my key aims is for variety and thankfully that is easy to achieve when roasting at home. :coffee2: I have a relatively undeveloped palate (not pallet, or palette), but can't understand people who wax lyrical about all the different notes when less than a quarter of what they are drinking is coffee in a warm milk drink. Mind you, reformed milk drinkers like me can be just as irritating as reformed smokers and it wasn't that long ago I was swigging litres of milk a week, so I probably shouldn't get too high on my horse.
