Next Dr Who will be a Christmas Special which is on Boxing day for us. 😉 They have gone all American with their seasons this time, and have split it in two. So you've only had 5 episodes, and it will recommence next year some times, probably around March/April at a guess. Also if you like Steven Moffat's stuff the 3rd installment of Sherlock (usually 3 parts) starts in the new year. It's a great show. To be honest I think Steven Moffat is better at doing that than Dr Who. I much preferred Russell T Davies at the helm, but everything has to move on I suppose. He's currently working on "Wizards vs Aliens" for CBBC.
