hey remus, I'll email you with a thought that I'm working on ... kinda related.

I would love to - err... distance may be a problem. Cheers, Amy

Remus

FC is in canberra. where are you from amy ?

[deleted]

I live in Hobart... 🙂 I will be coming to Goulburn in October. However I don't think I'm going to have to stop for a lesson in ACT. Sooo... FC, everyone.. come to Tassie! 🙂 Cheers, Amy

Remus

hobart...that may be a problem !! 8)

I'd make the trip from Sydney for a lesson.. no doubt!

May even buy a Ranc while I'm there.. if FC can supply one!

FreshCoffee2

Sure can!

Honest_Gaza

Might be interested as long as the other members don't object to a "non-believer". 🙂

Wot's a "non believer"? If you are referring to sentiments in your other topic (started yesterday?), I dont see much wrong there...valid points, requiring direction, answers,...that's what this site should be about..less wank & image mongering, and more straight coffee & equipment information. Now where's that naked porterfiltermajiggera that everyone is massaging themselves about at the moment? G. Antiwank Coffee Politician

Persistant, insincere cynicism gets a bit tiring, I find!

Showing your naked portafilters on the table is like walking around in the lingerie section of Myer (boring, and a bit wierd). Lets see some action! 😛

FreshCoffee2

Anyone that would like to come down to my humble establishment would be most welcome. We'll have a good time, believers and non believers alike...that's what it's all about! In fact, I guess anyone that wants to bring their own machine can do that too, so that particular issues can be addressed on the spot. Regardz, FC.

Mad_Barun

When are we going to do it! Oct 14th (I've just picked any date)seems like a good date? FC What do you think? (Hows the training video coming on?) I'm with you Reschsmooth "Persistant, insincere cynicism gets a bit tiring" "Constructive" is the key But we are all entitled to our opinions Coffeeon Mark

Honest_Gaza

I guess it is only polite to ask FC to nominate the date as he is the man providing the venue and his time. FC....any ideas on dates...is it better on a week day or a weekend ? How long do you anticipate the session lasting ? A samll fee was mentioned by Remus....any indication of costs ? Are ugh boots allowed ? Even my wife is interested in coming along so that I don't stir up too much trouble.
