Chris_Stuffa Wow I just looked at this thread and the Kingswood in Richards' post is the exact same car as my first, same colour as well. Although I'm positive my car wouldn't have lasted till 2002 as I gave it a fair hiding. My first bike was a Ducati Desmo 450 single cylinder followed by a Bonnie 750, Harley Low Rider then a few Jap bikes. I recently imported a 2011 Heritage softail from the states which should see me through.

C-man I doubt their would be many to own their first car at the tender age of 12 yep, I was coming back from my paper delivery on collection day when I passed a petrol station with an old beat up convertible, maybe a 40 something or early 50s Desoto with a sign on it "$50 Runs" I emptied out my pockets with something like 30 odd dollars and the guy took it, I was so small he gave me an old thick phone book to sit on, I could just see but could not reach the peddles! So my little brother laid on the floor and worked them with his hands and we chucked the bike in the back and drove it home. My mom came out as it made one hell of a noise and asked what it was? my fist car I said she said well then put it in the garage as it looks bad, so I did.
