:thumb: Much appreciated to your assistance gentlemen. Will try the masking tape trick and post results and perhaps some pics. Just to cover all angles, i might just do a couple of vertical and a couple of horizontal slits. Or, maybe do some diagonal ones to cover the angles (sic) too. While the KKTO was warming up and then stabilised, i too readings in the roasting chamber using a temp probe. It seems for eg. the dial says 225 deg, the reading on the DMM says 250. Has anyone tried temp readings and found it's not quite the same as on the dial.
