Of course there are plenty of other songs about the place as too many bands to mention come from Dunfermline.
Beanz Sitting in Schwarzenbach this morning having a coffee with my wife when three Australian guys from Sydney wandered in. Nine customers in the cafe, five from Australia. [attach=1] If visiting Zurich I strongly suggest visiting Henrici at Niederdorfstrasse 1. Just a short walk from the one above but well worth visiting if in the area [attach=2]

Beanz It has been quite cool the last few days and raining on and off. I would welcome any sugestions for cafes that "must" be visited in Milan, Florence or Rome. I have not had much luck searching threads for suggestions. Looking forward to getting to Mumac !
Beanz A very interesting cafe / restaurant that roasts their own coffee, bakes their own bread / pastries and produces their own range of chocolates The coffee is roasted in a Coffee Tech Solar roaster. [attach=1] They have a comprehensive 12 page menu and manage to fill the place every night. They also have guest rooms, the cafe opens at 6am and closes 11pm. [attach=2] I was told by several staff and locals that the pizza oven is the largest in Europe, it is wood fired and is used to cook the pizzas and a range of the breads. The wood is supplied by the local farmers in exchange for bread baked in the oven, this sounded quite extraordinary but after checking and rechecking we were confident that the story was correct and that there was no misunderstanding [attach=3] [attach=4] Schneiders Quer Speerstrasse 15 8330 Pfaffikon ZH Pfaffikon ZH is in the Canton of Zurich. If travelling to Pfaffikon make sure you go to Pfaffikon ZH and not Pfaffikon SZ which is a different town

The old unsold bread is swapped for wood, the old bread is then used as feed for the farmers animals. They also buy in wood. Makes more sense now !
Beanz Cafe Badilatti is located in Zuoz, Switzerland. It is a 3rd generation coffee roaster, cafe and now also includes a museum. They are the highest coffee roaster in Europe at 1715m ASL. They use a 51 year old Probat roasting 60Kg at a time. A beautiful location situated across the road from the river surrounded by snow capped mountains. The cafe is in the orange coloured building.
