If I,m not drinking coffee, my choice of beer at the moment is the Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier. It is a wheat beer from the oldest brewery in the world, established in 1040 as a brewery. After many years drinking aussie beers, there's no turning back after drinking german wheat beers like the Hefe. It is yeasty, full bodied and a hint of banana and cloves. Best to swirl the last 100 ml in the bottle and pour due to the yeast bed at the bottom. Have had the occasional Becks pilsener as well as the Trumer Pils, served in it's distinctive test tube glass.
