After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

La Cimbali M27 basic 2 group coffee machine
Dear Coffee Lovers,
I have machine (as above) and wonderful Italian engineering with serious durability a big plus.
The main power switch has three positions 0 (off) 1(presumably low heat position) 2 (high heating setting).
I've had this machine operating successfully for some time now,connected to rain water tank and single phase 240volt power 32amps.
My question is ,are there any users of this model that are successfully able to energise the machine using position 1?
When ever I position the switch to 1,all I get is brew/steam and pump operation but only until boiler temperature drops below thermostat setting,every thing then stops working below that setting!
Some information please.
Always works correctly on position 2.
