Which espresso machine would you buy for home if money was not in the equation

GeekKopi

As the title reads it would be interesting to know which machine you would buy for home if money was no concern. It can either be a domestic or commercial machine.

To kick things off for me it would be a Slayer One Group because it's bad ass. The looks, the specs, the art #drool. It's magnificent imho.

For a lever machine it would be a 2 group Izzo Pompeii. Neapolitan art.

Both slayer and Izzo side by side = heaven

What's your dream machine? Reply with pics so we can lust over them.

Based purely on aesthetics ;D.

How much is that slayer? Just askin'... Its an interesting question. I don't have an answer because I like my current machine too much. As long ascincan keep it, anything you post here is a bonus, if someone else foots the bill 😉

Hi Brett, The one group Slayer is around $13K in Aus but I'm sure this is the base price, then ++$$ for customisations. Pair that with NS Mythos grinder and you're out $16K at least.

I love the look of that machine Pat. It's my favourite commercial for looks and the Unico Splendor is my favourite domestic for looks.

Saw one new (reproduction of the original) for $7.5k - which I had some lazy money to throw at it !

Love the look of the Kees Van Der Western Speedster, from all reports it's a real performer as well, all you will need is a spare $13,000 http://keesvanderwesten.com/news_new-speedster4.html

Came across a Spirit in a café the other day, they're definitely eye catching. The coffee was pretty good too :-)

They're pretty awesome DB. I was tossing up between it and the slayer but I had to get the slayer as the looks of it just did it for me. #dreaming

I'm a stainless freak, the Speedster has it in abundance. :thumb:

I hear ya! I am too but cleaning it annoys the hell out of me. Well could this sway you? A stainless Slayer - but imagine the feet in stainless instead of orange.

Sorry GK, that (in my eyes) is one ugly SOB, looks like an old fashion galvanized wash tub on legs. :stir

I asked my wife what her dream machine is and she said "Nespresso". I now am filing for a divorce. I have a lot of patience for her but she has gone too far. [emoji61]? lol.
