GS3 with a programmable pressure profile? > 1group Strada Mini - Move over GS3

GeekKopi

From the LM newsletter, as posted on other worldwide forums:

Another revolutionary espresso machine awaits you! For the very first time, the unmistakable Strada EP is down sized to a 1-group version to fit any coffee environment. This single group model adds a water reservoir, making plumb-in optional, as well as an internal volumetric pump to the EP's distinctive features - its iconic silhouette, dedicated gear pumps and pressure profiling ... just the right combination for a perfect shot.

and for the pic:

From reading the rumours on the inter webs it seems that this unit will have repeatable pressure profiles (unlike the GS3).

Launch: Oct 2015
mmmmmmmm :thumb: :coffee2: ???

Not sexy unless there's blue neon to go with the Perspex 😉 Will be interesting to see how this product unfolds once official announcements are made.

Not to mention the fantastical price tag.

Well, the people who rave about pressure profiling are not the same people that have to serve consistent coffees for a living. Ergo - wonder why so few cafes these days pick Stradas........instead opting for GB5, Linea and the superb PB's. Speak to a tech who works on LM gear and find out the real story.
