Dry_bean Obviously making money in the Adelaide retail industry is not all beer and skittles. http://www.news.com.au/national/south-australia/adelaide-hills-man-luke-kilsby-given-suspended-sentence-over-false-claim-75k-coffee-van-was-stolen/story-fnii5yv4-1227536917501 Pretty naive attempt, lucky he got a compassionate judge.
Brett_H It's greed and it hurts the rest of us via our insurance premiums and tax dollars. Don't get me wrong, I sympathise with the guy and am certainly empathetic to his situation. The stupidity of his actions however could have robbed himself of a future and his family of a Dad (at least in the short term). There are plenty of folk working 60 hour weeks who don't over-capitalise and borrow beyond their NTA's! To try rip off the insurance companies for a quick pay-out is clearly the thinking of an unstable fellow. I hope he gets the help he needs. While I'm on my soapbox.... Did the mate know?? If so, he is no friend!!
GeekKopi “In the future stick to what you are good at — concreting, not making coffees,” best advice his was given by the judge
