GeekKopi A little sunset from a few days ago. This was taken at Fort Gellibrand. For some info on the location visit http://www.mhhv.org.au/?p=2351
Brett_H Lovely. Used my camera last night to do some photography of a concert. Absolutely sensational results. I shot in raw and jpg and the buffer just did not suffer. I'm loving the 750 because it's so powerful yet so compact.

Brett_H That's a serious camera! Sooooo, who's getting a 14-24f2.8 then?? Would you not be better if waiting for the 810 upgrade Te rumoured D900?? The landscape potential is medium-format worthy just with the 810 alone!! NikonRumours: New 20MP FX sensor 4k video 173 autofocus points (update: new focusing module with larger coverage) Native high ISO of 102,400 15 fps Body design similar to the D4s Read more on NikonRumors.com: http://nikonrumors.com/2015/06/22/the-nikon-d5-is-rumored-to-have-a-native-high-iso-of-102400-and-4k-video.aspx/#ixzz3tmOUrwYP

Hopefully DR surpasses 16stops. I'm trying to avoid the need for expensive square grad filters and just use post if the DR is there. So far with the d7200 I can boost exposure by 2-3 stops on foregrounds without degrading quality and still produce printable photos. So based on that info you can tell I underexposed a tad to not blow out the sky.
GeekKopi Out on the town last night. First photo is Webb Bridge Docklands Melbourne. The second one is from under the Bolte bridge. Had to correct for lens flare due to bright lights in post as I shot fairly stopped down for depth field. If I shot fairly wide open it wouldn't be an issue but it wasn't the result I was going for.
Koffee_Kosmo If you are in Melbourne City at night again I wouldn't mind seeing this scene photographed at night with your keen experimental eye Photo taken with my Canon Ixus when I was recently there on stopover

The arts centre does come up well at night.
GeekKopi In other news. I now am authorised seller of NISI square filters and systems for landscape artists. I'm not advertising just sharing the news.

Koffee_Kosmo A couple on Canon EOS70D night traffic photos I was a passenger and I just snapped these through the windscreen while traveling on the highway KK
GeekKopi Hi KK. if I may, bump your ISO up a few stops. It will give you a brighter exposure and provide some more detail. When I do some night shots, especially if I want some nice bright stars im shooting at ISO3200 sometimes even at 6400 with my lens wide open. What was your ISO and aperature for those photos? I did a quick snap last night outside my garage to test noise performance of my camera at high ISO. note there was heaps of ambient light and light pollution. The result, ny camera captured stars I couldn't even see.

GeekKopi Killer sunrise the other morning. The sky was magic - all kinds of vivid colours.... well worth getting up early. Photo taken before the sun hit the horizon. ISO100, 11mm, f8, 408s | NiSi Filters ND1000, NiSi GND8
