This is the description I have found Patron XO Cafe is an extraordinary blend of premium tequila and the pure natural essence of coffee. The taste is dry, not sweet as with most low proof coffee liqueurs. It is excellent for sipping as well as an ingredient in a cocktail or as a delicious dessert topping. May need to look for cocktail recipes that inspire me KK

Blimey ... they're promoting it as a kind of ... err ... health drink. :rofl: .. not that it matters. Coffee with a kick ... with steel capped boots .. by the sounds ... not that there's anything wrong with that.

A nice thought. I think as a desert topping will be sensational.....on a good quality vanilla ice cream.

I've tried Patron XO many times and it's a supurb drop - I like it over ice with Kahlua and frangelico! P

I tried this on a flight the other day and it was delicious! No taste of tequila at all; just a sweet strong alcoholic coffee [emoji14]

The meniscus btw climbs halfway up the wall of the glass. It tastes as good as it looks.

I was able to try some of this a couple of weeks ago. I gotta say it was actually quite nice. Similar to other coffee liqueurs, but probably one of the nicer ones IMO. I just had it straight as a sipper. Very enjoyable.

I've been enjoying espresso over ice with an over proof native Moroccan fermented fig liqueur recently have to say it practically blows your head off !
