After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

El Rocio Espresso Machine announced that they are going to launch their new machine soon.
I am using their machine Zarre at the moment, I am very excited to see that new machine!  :D
What do you guys think of this machine??

    Hi Coffeest and welcome to the forum. I was undecided whether to let your inaugural post be published - first post, promoting an unreleased machine. You're from Korea as is the machine you're promoting, in fact from the same region as the retailer's location, and you've made the same post on a number of forums. If you're here to participate, welcome, but I'll ask point blank: do you have an affiliation with the company? I thought I'd let other members get some context around your post to take any enthusiasm for the new machine with a grain of salt. Enjoy your time here.

    Hi Kelsey and thank you for welcoming me. Since I am just a big fan of their machines, I just wanted to share their machines with coffee fans as me, I checked all over world's coffee forums and I found that El Rocio espresso machines are not well known brand to people. If my post brought any problems, I would delete this post from here.

    Reads as a blatant ad to me Different if it was .. Hi Guys, I'm X and live in X .. I love my Coffee and wondering which coffee beans you use. I've only just bought a new machine .. it is X ... what sort of machines and grinders do you use Have you heard of this brand before Rather it is a headline ad. I'd delete it. Just my opinion.

    Hey Coffeest How about posting a photo of your personal machine and a photo of the coffee in the cup results What a lot of people don't understand is that it's an easy feat in mechanical engineering terms to make a machine but there are hundreds of minor variables to get right for a machine to be great For a great cup of coffee we need to consider the growing conditions and the region it's grown And then we can talk more about roasting styles Not so simple KK

    Thank you for your explanations. I understand what you are saying, however I never touched that machine yet because it is not out yet. My current machine is their Zarre and planning to upgrade to their new machine now. If I had that machine with me, I would love to share the performance of that machine also.

    Hi ... you may not be able to share your thoughts and experiences on the new machine that hasn't come out yet ... but .. you CAN share your thoughts on the performance of the Zarre ... which is a machine you DO have. Let's talk about Coffee ... You first

    Thank you Mr. Moon. I am using the Zarre from early last year and I am enjoying this machine, it has 2 vibration pumps with double boilers and it has 3 PID(grouphead, steam boiler, hot water boiler) also which I liked most. There are 2 modes(2 settable auto modes and 1 manual mode) to extract espresso, I can set pre-infusion from auto modes also and can adjust the extraction pressure by manual mode(there is a knob on Zarre's controller). and the grouphead is their own designed grouphead which installed dual heaters and PID for temperature stability. I think this machine is enough to use at home as I do.

I have no idea .. and where do you get your beans from? Do your friends also have Coffee machines? Feel free to give us an idea of the Coffee scene over where you are. We don't get to hear much about Korean lifestyle over here

    Yes, I satisfy with my machine. I like to drink americano and latte, I heard that most of Korean people drink extremely hot coffee and it is true. I get my roasted beans from a roastery shop around my place. Korean people started to drink coffee not long ago, it's been like 3~4years, of course we drank instant coffee before that.

    Hi Brett H! Yes, Korean coffee is changing these days! Some latte art baristas are doing well from the world latte art championship especially!  :thumb:
