Crema site!

admin

Hi guys - every now & then, I have to give a reminder of a couple of 'ground rules' - the main one being no url's to commercial websites on the 'have your say' thread. However, FYI this is allowed on 'Trade page'.

On a fun note, the observant ones among you might see that we've added a link to PICS/Fun stuff on the menu on the main Crema home page (haven't managed to get it to show on the Forum menu yet...we're working on it).

Take a look - you can just click on the direct link: http://www.cremamagazine.com.au/page/picsfun_stuff.html, and start sending those pics in - you never know, we might even turn it into a new comp!

ciao

-Admin.

FYI - it takes a second to load, but you'll also see the crappy Melitta ad we were referring to in another thread.

admin

Hi there - have loaded the first of your contributions - see the 'Green Bean Caffeine Machine' courtesy John Doyle! http://www.cremamagazine.com.au/page/picsfun_stuff.html. ciao -A

Hi Guys - new pic for you - have just loaded a fantastic pour shot by Gus Gallardo - take a look by clicking on 'PICS/fun stuff' on the menu bar on the left. By the way, I just might be persuaded to re-load that fantastic Jennifer Hawkins (Miss Universe) pic for your viewing pleasure - who said I'm not open to bribes... ciao -A

Hi guys - just a quick note to let you know that there have been so many 'machine-related' topics recently that I think it's about time to start a page dedicated to this subject - see: Machines/Technical. As you'll see, I've already moved some of the threads from 'Have your say' and Trade page. ciao -Admin

Hi guys - just a quick note that the latest issue of Crema is out now in newsagents...as we are a consumer magazine we believe we should give the opportunity for readers to give feedback, so any comments are welcome on this thread! Cheers Admin. PS Forum members - don't forget to check out our Photo Comp - see PICS/Fun stuff for details!

Just a reminder about our photo comp. on PICS/Fun stuff - have just loaded some more pics; go to the Menu on left or click here: http://cremamagazine.sitesuite.ws/page/picsfun_stuff.html Cheers -A

Hi guys - not a big deal, but for the sake of consistency, have moved 'which machine' to the Machines/Technical thread. Ciao -A

snappa

hello to all, firstly, i enjoy this site and (most)all the comments and opinions that i read. i have been looking forward to reading the review on machines >1k.....but i'm still waiting. the mag was sold out and so here we are busting to see which machine has the goods. i have succumbed to purchasing a,dare i say it,giotto premium and its a "wee ripper".love the machine, its a piece of furniture, not to mention the goods it produces. however id still love to know about all the rest......both good and not so good

admin

Hi Snappa - we're intending to do the 2005 reviews in two parts: the machines < $1,000 in the Autumn issue [mid-April] and the machines > $1,000 in the Winter issue [mid-July]. Cheers -A

Hi guys - just a quick note to wish you all the best over the festive season, and to let you know i'll be out of town for a few days...will still be checking in from time to time, however - as any good forum member should! Cheers Admin PS remember, have posted the results of the Picture Competition on Bar open at 3.00pm on Off topic/fun stuff. Thanks again to John from Coffee training for the donation of the fantastic tamper as a prize.

Hi guys - hope you had a good break. As the New Year begins, I thought it would be a good time to look at a few of the most controversial threads from last year, as well as a few of my own personal favourites...see 'revived threads' ciao Admin
