Well I took the unit to a BBQ today, and it performed like a trooper.


AND SO QUITE  :thumb:




Two shots to dial it in and then it ran like a charm.  I was even impressed by the Steam and the Temp sensor.


I think this will be my BBQ / Gaming night  (Friday night we had a StarCraft reunion) / need portable and quality...

High praise indeed.  How would it handle 'mug of cino' for 6?  The Diadema DB doesn't miss a beat but neither should it at 4x SB7000!

So AM...a few months further on...any reason not to go with the EM7000 ?

AM isn't here anymore but he'd probably tell you to go for it, there is so much crap going on with the other appliance brands machine it's not worth looking at...

I spoke to AM the other day about the 7000 vs BDB. Apparently the BDB is now as bad as the 6910 for faults and reliability while the 7000 is proving to be largely fault free to date. There  have been 2 machines (7000's) at the local, now defunct repair centre . One had a dead pcb and the other a loose connection. That is all
