Water used for espresso machine
« on: 09/12/2009, 12:20 PM »
hi,

i would like to know if the water use for the machines has to be filtered externally to bring out the best of the beans?
i'm talking bout coffees made using by home espresso machine.
from where i lived, the waters are not so pure or there is a concern that rust in water pipings.
Thanks.

Filtration is considered a minimum and depending on your water quality softening may also be required to reduce scale build up.
