It should be possible, but there are probably restrictions on importing from certain regions due to problems with pests. Also there appear to be some restrictions depending on the chemicals used to treat the plants/beans.

It would probably be quicker to either email or ring them.

I have brought in cashew nuts, spices and other food items from overseas before. If the labeling is not in english or in the case of products bought straight from the source (i.e. a farm or factory) make sure that the food's packaging is decent and clean. Avoid hemp bags and other natural fibres used sometimes for packaging. And finally , declare everything upon arrival. I almost always pack my food in a separate bag. This makes it so much easier when at customs - only have to open a single bag , no digging around clothes for that elusive jar of jam.

You are welcome paulie.

Do keep us posted , I'm heading overseas again in a couple of months and, like you, I'm planning to bring back some green.
