Bean Storage Solution
« on: 06/04/2016, 08:57 PM »
I have bought three of these from Campos after a mid-week visit.  The coffee and food were as usual excellent but these bad-boys are my new coffee storage Heros.  I use a freezer bag to line the insides because I reckon they're not dishwasher friendly long-term.

Excellent tip.
how much were they Brett? (approx price)
I can only find one usa online store at the moment. I would prefer to support any local retailers.
Brissie Campos is a bit far at the moment for me.

Sorry DB!  Great sleuthing LW!!  At $35 they aren't cheap but they feel robust and look terrific!  Also, they worked really well with a brand new roast that was obviously degassing but did it without any impact on the seat of the seals.  Bulletproof coffee do them for $25 with any other bean order but I can't bring myself to order anything as... er.... fiscally er.... ????.... as BullrtProof!

Do like the look of them Brett, think I will get my daughter to pick up a couple of red ones (colour scheme thing) and send them over. :)

I looked at them too. I reckon you could get a better price than that at a retail outlet!

Jeepers, I was just looking at these myself the other day.

These ones too.

Have seen em before Sue, looks to be a pretty complex way to skin a cat, much prefer Brett's option. :)

Eh, I was just browsing around and came across them.

I might have a closer look at the other ones in a bit :P.
