Nice work... mine all still look a little too offensive to post on this site but I'm hoping to get some of my better Latte Art pictures published in the new version of Gray's Anatomy.

:thumb: I would be happy to drink every one of those pics posted here. All those milk textures i'm sure would present a nice creamy mouthfeel, i believe when latte art done well is an indication that the espresso base has been extracted well, the milk textured nicely to the right temperature, and the canvass layer set so that the patterns can be drawn out without being washed out.

The traditional Barista in Italy would turn their nose up at these sort of antics, but i believe a well executed latte art does not take too much time away from a good cup of coffee, and it presents the icing on the cake to a well made cup.

Here's my breakfast cup taken this morning, and it does look strikingly similar to the new year shot in the other forum.

Don't think anyone has done it before, so i present to you perhaps the first ever latte art tulip in a mug.

I wonder if this would be a good selling point if i had my own mobile coffee van  :coffee2:......................

looks good to me KK.  Coffee from the heart, I can see why the mrs is impressed. :)

Mine has been shocking lately.  Still waiting for RM to post up latte art tips.  He had a few that helped him along the way, and he needs to share!!!!    :pan

The art is crappy but the 50/50 split of light and dark crema amuses me. Couldnt do it again if I tried and I have no idea how it happened in the first place  :D

That's great art DX. I also love your Yin and Yang effect.  Doubtless that's exactly what you were going for and mission accomplished you!! 5 Stars!  My art still looks like lady's genitals :( I am not comfortable posting pictures on this family friendly forum.

KK's effort with the layered heart inspired me to try hearts again, which led me to rosetta's again which led me to............. you get the idea.

So to you KK

Nice ones there Ronin  :thumb: . I think I'm pushing it with my cup size. I'm just about full when its time to get creative. Could drink doubles and switch to my larger Campos cups I guess

Thanks Guys

I'd love to go to the comp on Friday but will be in Maleny for the weekend so will miss out.
Anyone up for a coffee at Colin James on the w/e?

I think I'm pushing it with my cup size.

These cups are about 220mls, cap cups I got from a former employer.
Nice shape for art but I'd like some 190 ACF cups (not the tulip ones, I have them)
What size are your cups Derrilex?

My ability to produce latte art is very transient. My theory is it has to do with the full moon or stars aligning.

Here's one I'm proud of.

Was wondering if I could add a few of the images to my pinterest page?

In particular by - 'BNE coffee', 'Acog is awesome' and one of Ronin's.

I prefer to ask rather than just link.

Thanks.

Wife not so happy with her early morning decaf.  I think it was the salty flavor more than anything:

Wish I could pour art like that, I am sure the guys in the office would love getting a cup with a set of jewels on top, would stop them asking me to make them coffees
