Launching The BREWOVER
« on: 26/10/2014, 04:24 PM »
Hi guys,
Myself and the great Manna Beans over on the southside of Brisbane have launched a little project this week.
We have created a new brewing devise called the BREWOVER.
The main reason behind this was because i wanted a bigger manual pourover brewing method. Something bigger than a Chemex and Simon wanted to create a more compact method for cold drip and cold brew coffee. So we incorporated the 2. It has taken us about a year and 6 prototypes to get to the final product and are so happy with the final results. More importantly the brewing results are exceptional.
We have launched the BREWOVER on kickstarter (a crowd funding website)and would love the support of the whole Australia Coffee industry to kick this project off. We have offered a very good deal the pre-purchasing the product.
Please check it out on www.Brewover.com or www.brewover.com.au and the link to www.kickstarter.com is on the website. it has been up for 2 days and the support has been great.
We would really appropriate the support to get this Australian made and designed project off the ground.
Cheers Brendan from BeanGreen.

Yep I'm giving this a crack to RM.  Should be a cracker if the money gets pledged.  All the best with this one Brendan, let's hope the yanks get on board this  one and give the project a mighty cash injection!

I jumped in a week or 2 back also.  I think the target is lofty, but bargain basement if it gets off!  Here's hoping!!!

It's looking good.  $27,679 of the $35,000 with 39 days to go!  It just needs a bit more to get it over the finishing line!

I got an email yesterday too that says they have redesigned the valve a bit.  That's the only bit that put me off initially because I thought it would heat up if your doing a hot coffee, but now they are insulating it.

I believe this project will move forward regardless, plenty of people interested so will be a win win for all involved.
