Also how are you guys processing? I've just followed the wet method so far.
My first couple of years I did the same - soaked them to remove the mucilage then dried etc. They came out a lot better than I was expecting, or maybe just a case of not wanting to call my baby(ies) ugly :-) last year I just pulped them, briefly put them in water to remove floaters, which I assumed, wrongly or rightly, may be dodgy. (However I was chatting to Kees from MTCP recently and he does not worry about "floaters") I then used more of a honey processing method. Very sticky and attracts ants etc, with the aim to see if I can get more interesting results. They are currently still resting and waiting to be hulled, so cannot report anything as yet. I suppose the risks are higher of getting a stinker that may ruin the roast. Graham
