After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

It has been a year and upgraditus / change of pace has taken hold.
My much cared for and loved DCM (Dual boiler) is available to some lucky person.
A: 3 x Groups including a Naked
B: Spare baskets / Screens / Group seals etc
C: 54mm SS tamp with Woden handle - Not a perfect (pulman quality) fit for the baskets but has never been a problem. I also like the height of the group as you can fit quite large cups if required, but no 20oz stuff :0
D: Added a little sound proofing and it has helped - can be removed very easily.
E: Have a spare switch and decal, as I was going to mod and allow the seam boiler to be switched out. But time and due to the majority of drinks being milk based, I never finished the project other than the big plan.
F: Printout of User manual and pdf of User and Service/Parts manual.

There is also plenty of reading on HB and other forums.
The DCM is volumetric and has selectable preinfusion of up to 4 sec as well. Simple to program as to one or two cups and simple to adjust the brew temp AS it is in real time and a true value, as the group and boiler are, as one. No offset and other factors to consider.
AND you can always use it manually and stop a shot any time. I never really worried about knowing the exact temp other than when I first got it (Great coffee is 20% science and 80% passion). Since then, it has just been a tweak up or down when testing different roasts to see what gave the best. Group is set for about 8.75 Bar.
Would prefer NOT to ship, unless YOU take full responsibility and at your cost.
Prices have dropped over the last 12 months and current Retail is ~$2700 plus gst and without the extras etc
So if ya want a Dual boiler / Volumetric with a small footprint, here is your opportunity.
