After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

And sometimes you just get the dopey ones...

Browsing Reddit the other day I noticed a post asking if anyone else loved the smell of coffee, but not the taste.

After looking through the posts, it was clear that they'd never actually had good coffee. So I put together a quick summary of what needs to happen for coffee to be great. All up, 1 minute of work for a great experience.

The reply: "Psssht, too much work, why bother?"

If you served up a decomposing Turkey instead of baking it, would you blame the Turkey or the preparation method?

Is one minute really that much trouble?

Going to go make a perfect ristretto and flush this thought from my brain.
