600,000 Kuerig compatible Coffee makers recalled after reports of facial burns  ???

Scary for users and very scary numbers. This is Hot off the internet today. As far as I am aware these machines are not imported for Australian use. But interesting a little in that they were imported into the USA by the Sunbeam Distributor.

They the makers and all companies for that matter, can take a leaf from the IKEA way of doing things Testing many many times until it breaks to know its faults and limits before going to market KK

Perhaps it's a cheap clone of the authentic K-cup. Importer will just go Chapter 11 and then close their business to avoid the high probability of litigation - as is the custom in the US. Funnily enough, quite a few K-cups seem to make the journey to Oz when their owners migrate from the US to here. We receive quite a lot of queries from owners looking for the K-cup consumables.
