Motorbikes and Coffee

Not sure of a thread exists on coffee and motorbikes.  Well today I said a fair well to my VTR1000, an 04 model with 27250 click on the clock.  I just haven;t been riding it and so time to move an enjoyment that was costing me 1K per year... I was feeling guilty!

I'm curious to know who else in the coffee nirvana enjoys the odd spirited ride?

Great pictures mate!  I had a bike up until I was 17:Honda XL100 that became a 250.  My folks wanted me to 'get it out of my system!'  I have always missed the freedom of a bike but my knees don't work properly as a result of accidents as a kid so perhaps nostalgia and vicarious living are for the best.

I had my first bike at 15 and a 1/2 rode for years, then one day decided I had pushed my luck enough and stopped. I did hire a "fat boy" while in Thailand for a couple weeks and really enjoyed it again after many, many years You never loose the Buzz.

Speaking of big twins- my dream bike is a Stelvio NTX... It's on the bucket list! Surely in life we all get to own just one Guzzie, don't we?  It's not too much to ask is it? But being somewhat more practical and pragmatic... I'm trying to pull the trigger on a Husky Terra... Really the only thing stopping me is the very small but very sharp little paring knife in our kitchen and what my wife has promised she will remove from my body if I do.... Ah yes, it's the yin and yan of life that makes it so interesting, isn't it?
