After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Nemox Caffe Junior Espresso Machine

Nemox Caffe Junior Espresso Machine. Any good? Does anyone have any experiences with this machine. Been looking for some reviews but can't find any to see if it can walk the walk say to speak. Found one going out on a discount.

  • From all accounts they're a pretty reasonable machine Personally I'd probably spend my money on a Gaggia coz I prefer the aesthetics but if its performance you're after you're better off saving ya dough and spending it in a Sunbeam EM6910 And don't forget you'll need a decent burr grinder as well But one thing at a time... pat
  • I have heard mixed results about the Sunbeam EM6910. Some people have had no trouble with theirs whiles others have had constant problems.
  • The Em6910 replaces the EM6900, which was the earlier model which had most of the teething problems The main reason I like it is that its the only machine in its class that allows you to steam milk and extract coffee at the same time, whilst still pulling a great shot You have to spend much more than this on a high-end machine to get the same features elsewhere - Yes, I've heard all about the teething problems but the aftersales service is supposed to be excellent The man problem with all machines in this price bracket it temperature stability, but learning how to temperature surf is (in my opinion) one of the joys of making coffee!
