After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Breville Service Agent Brisbane - Sparkies Closed?

edited January 1970 in Espresso Machines
Hi Guys,
Anyone know if Sparkies has definitely closed down?

Have a leak from the BES900 steam ball joint i'd like looked at and Sparkies were the bee's knees.

Cheers

  • Have you called them by phone? It will be the best first up action you should take KK
  • Hi KK Naturally, no answer on the old number - of course ringing them is the first port of call. No phone number listed on their website and it says they closed on 15/5. I guess it's a case of looking for someone else now. Breville told me that Oxley has a Mr Sparky's now that handles the BES900. Hatchy
  • AM posted a while ago about them, I think on Facebook. I'll see if I can find the post and copy it here for you. They definitely weren't servicing Breville machines anymore.
  • Sorry to hear about your issues mate!  Have you rung Breville direct?
  • Hi Brett Yeah I called Breville - they suggested Mr Sparky's at Oxley. I remember calling them when I had the low pressure problem and they referred me to Albion, so i'm somewhat concerned about having them perform the work to be honest, but there isn't another option in Brissie. Cheers

Not good mate... Perhaps the Breville whiz from Albion has moved across?!
