Ok, so Ive been really focusing on getting my free pour skills up to a standard where, well, I can free pour some artwork.
At the moment its a hit and miss.
First coffee in the morning its usually a miss but then there are times where I get all my ducks in a row and pour a nice piece.
My question is, with which type of cup should I be practising with.
Currently I'm pouring in a duralex glass and a 150ml tulip.
Funny thing is with my little 90m espresso cups I can stain a macchiato rosetta more often better than with the duralex glass - don't know why, it just happens.
Is something like a 220ml cappuccino bowl a better option to practice with (see image)?
How do you do it? Tilt the cup, keep it flat on the bench, etc?
