After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

New to the forum

Hey everyone,
So I'm new to the forum but have been on the espresso coffee train for about 6ish years. After beginning my journey with several cheap machines that kept failing I'm happy to say I've now upgraded to a Lelit PL41TEM a few weeks ago and a brand new Quamar Q50P grinder which arrived today! From the browsing I've done the forum it seems like everyone is nice and friendly :) looking forward to continuing the coffee education. e798e714c68129d7a58db6bdd101afe1.jpg

So cool Brent. That's a great machine and an awesome grinder. Enjoy the gear and the forum. Cheers, Paul :) www.kbean.com.au
  • That's a neat looking piece of kit Brent.  :thumb: Do you also roast your own coffee? My mobile coffee van is neat all round too but I think there's a small section of 1 cm coffee crud under the coffee machine where I cant reach lol. Welcome to your coffee journey.

Welcome to the forum It's all about the journey and what point you have reached in that journey, that is all that's matters to us and a love of coffee If we can help while on that journey then our job is done KK

Haven't dabbled in the home roasting biz yet but have recently been thinking about it and was googling popcorn makers just the other day as an intro. I've had the feeling it's difficult or complicated but I'm sure it's probably easier than I think it is. I'm sure there's plenty of info on the forum to get me up to speed when I feel like giving it a try Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
