After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

I need a venue for a coffee morning for 20 to 30

Hello, as a marketing/promotional activity, I would like to hold a coffee morning for technical people (software engineers) who tend to be quite fussy about their coffee wants and needs (filter coffee an absolute no-no). I am looking for a nice espresso coffee retail outlet with a back or side room which would facilitate thirty or so people to drink their coffee, and listen to some technical lectures. Ideally from 9 to 11 on the last Friday of each month. Central Sydney is the preferred location. Hope to hear from you.

Regards,

Liam.

  • Hi CoffeeMorning, I just read your post and thought you should give the Lavazza Training Centre a try. They have done similar events for corporates, and could easily fit the numbers you are talking. Call Louise, their NSW Training Manager on 9693 0900. Good luck :)
  • Hi Liam, Have you found somewhere that has met your needs (good coffee too?)
  • I guess, and I hope I don't get in any trouble here - I am more inclined towards a 'boutique' coffee. I will keep it in mind, though. Thank you very much for passing on this information.

  • Voodoo Espresso on the 14th of July in Chippendale is the venue we have chosen. Gregg Lewis was kind enough to facilitate. Thank you for your comment and happy to hear any further thoughts you may have on the matter. Regards, Liam.
