You might get lucky at a large Nursery/Landscape outlet type store, believe it or not they are also a popular decorative shrub/tree "they get these nice red berries" as stated on a gardening show I caught a while back . Don't know what taste you would get out of a generic tree, probably better to get one from a coffee plantation.

Ok, this is the most ridiculous thread revival ever, and might set new records for bumping it up (7 years!), but today, I got two coffee plants from my brother (belated Christmas present).  It appears he bought them from here: http://www.daleysfruit.com.au and got them mail ordered, which was cool. Arrived healthy and happy. I repotted them tonight in a mix of dirt, orchid mix, coffee chaff, coffee grinds and compost.

Had I not had the pots this large handy, I would have left them as tubestock, but no doubt in a few years I'll have to rip out the mix and replenish with fresh stuff so they don't die off. Thankfully we have a glut of pots, as we have killed way too many plants in our time. Thankfully, we know what we are doing now

Nice pots RM, they will be big enough for lots of growth. Now you just need to ready yourself for cherries!
