After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

  • Woohoo managed to split a post, mod it without doing anything dumb - sorry proud moment  ;D They do come with nominal single and double baskets and you can run a double pull per basket if you want Pavoni/Fellini style which gets you 30ml'ish.
  • Thanks BF and a great job you did too.  I saw the post but didn't realise there was a reply in there.  Must have got caught up in the quote bit sorry. The shot quality?  Well I've only ever owned a single boiler and a HX with a commercial group for a short time, but it's definately up there with them.  I drink milk based drinks mostly, never really took to drinking straight espresso but I do try the odd shot.  I'm happy with the results, but it's hard to tell if the difference I taste is from having used a bigger double synesso ridgeless and also a triple basket in the other machines to using the somewhat smaller PV Lusso baskets. Kinda hard to describe the difference, but does make a lovely coffee, just different to the other machines. I would love a triple basket and a naked handle but I don't think anyone has made any for this machine yet.  Shame.  As BF says it comes with smaller single baskets, but I've never used them, but I do know another PV Lusso user that pulls a double and a single and seems to like the outcome.
