After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
hello to all.
in my cafe, i use MONIN syroups. i am very glad with their products after using the basics, ie - hazelnut, creme brule, irish cream. the usual.
this is why i decided to go a bit crazy and order some of their syroups that are actually meant for alcoholic bevs and try them out with coffee.
the purpose of this post is to share with you some flavors that have been going very well for me, and also - to ask for your advice on some im not managing to crack.
the ones that have been working well:
1. ice coffee with watermelon syroup ( big surprise but it actually is selling a lot).
2. latte with rose syroup.
3. latte with light orange.
the ones i need i need to crack:
1. cucumber! its very close to watermelon but not exactly. if anyone likes vodka here, cut up some cucumber, put it in a glass with vodka and ice, youll see - its makes vodka sweet and actually refreshing.
but what with coffee? i cant get it exactly.
2. summer fruit like strawberry, rasberries, etc. i want to attempt at maing a mix of smoothie/latte, or just a smoothie with an espresso.
problems ive been facing are issues with the sourness of the fruit.
anyway, itll be fun to see your ideas.
and id love to hear some new ones.
thank you
