After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Not "Notes notes notes but almost as good

  • Finally... My kind of cafe!  A fine documentary/advert AM.  Where is this haven of all that is sacred?  ;D
  • Sorry mate but it looks fake.  Also the first customer was the one I'd like to check over or graffiti  ;D
  • lol nice one AM, that gave a laugh and a half!
  • ha, ha that's pretty funny AM
  • Great video A bit over the top in a very funny Coffee Nazi sort of way Did that barista get any coffees made? KK
  • I saw this a few days ago and thought it was quite funny too! Sad thing is, I reckon there are some staff members of well known Melbourne cafes who act with similar attitudes (albeit to a lesser degree).  I love finding cafes though that are unpretentious about their passion for coffee and are willing to share and educate people.  Proud Mary in Collingwood is one where I think their staff are (for the most part) unpretentious and truly passionate about their coffee.
  • That's true Tango but I also enjoy watching the posturing and snootiness of over-preened over-pierced coffee 'phenom' delivering order to chaos and peace to the Middle East.  It can make for great Fawlty Towers-esque theatre.
  • Having a troll through old stuff. This is awesome AM. Top find :thumb:
