After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Now we can live and breathe coffee

Interesting, but I would get bored inhaling it. What would I do with all the extra bench space and time on my hands? Oh and speaking of hands, how would I warm them in winter??

  • Not bad for high-powered Wall Street types who need the pick-me-up but don't care about the ritual. I can't see it changing much for the rest of us tho, right? Our quest for great coffee isn't about the caffeine... well.... not entirely about the caffeine :coffee2: - I wanted the ritual again. Not only was Nespresso dearer, less flavoursome and fairly eco-un-friendly, but there was nothing to it - press a button and you're done (Like AM, I always stopped my espressos short for more flavour). Part of what I liked about getting into this was the process and the ritual. It's not a drink - it's a pastime & a passion. (not that I wouldn't try one just for the hell of it!)

Early part of 2010 I found this Le Whif: - Coffee you breath in with a device similar to an asthma inhaler You can make up your own mind http://www.lewhif.com/ KK
  • Wow. Would the decaf version be made of actual coffee :P I was discussing with my wife today (heh, wife - that still looks weird) and she discussed the prospect of taking coffee to work just to sniff for the afternoon. Something about the smell of coffee is such a pick-me-up, caffeine inhalation or not.
