After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
Optimal bench space for grinders
G'day,
I'm starting an espresso bar in Cairns and although I have a bit of management and service industry experience, I have limited experience as a Barista. My intention is to hire a full-time professional Barista and I want to ensure that the work area I provide is as streamlined and efficient as possible - ie; a joy to work in. I have purchased a Synesso machine and 2 Mazzer Robur grinders plus a mini Mazzer for decaf. My question is this (possibly the first of many): What is the optimum bench space I need to allow for to enable efficient unobstructed operation of the grinders? Also, on what side of the machine do baristas usually prefer the grinders to sit?
