After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Vietnam coffee

edited January 1970 in Have your say
SO with Nam as number 2 in production, why do we not see more of it in AU..

Or is it that we are too focused on Arabica due to marketing VS using more  Robusta ??????

 • Having some good pour-overs I take it?
 • I love it!  With condensed milk it is a very naughty treat!!!
 • Is it merely possible that it's just bought up as a commodity in large batch sizes from the likes of Nestle and makes its way into instant coffee, coffee and milk tubes and other abominations? It just depends on how the brokers operate in that country really as to where it ends up.
 • I have some experience with VN coffee as we have tested numerous samples over the last 5 years - and continue to test more. My wife's family has connections to a farm in the premium coffee growing districts. Can't say we have found anything in Arabica that suits us yet, but the quality improvements each crop are amazing. That's not to say that the coffee is not good, it's just not what we are personally looking for at this time.
